This thing of beauty originally belonged to my grandfather just before he passed away. My aunt was given it when he became to I’ll to be able to eat most foods. This summer while visiting her, we made cup cakes together in her kitchen and noticed she had it. I drooled over it I think quite a bit. Having a mixer of her own and knowing my passion for baking and burning out motors because of it, she asked if I wanted it. My mouth hung open and I could only nod my head in affirmation that i’d love to have it!

So, it’s been home with me now since August. It’s been use in the making of bread, corn muffins, pancakes, cakes, ice cream, cookies, and a variety of other yummies. The most recent uses were this weekend in the making of Bachelor Button cookies, corn muffins, and bread.

Yes, a Kitchenaid stand mixer is a staple in my house.

It’s been a while since I created this blog, but it took a long time to figure out why I really created it and what purpose it would serve me-the writer, and you-the reader. My house has many rooms, all serving more than one purpose. See, I’m like my house, I have many different areas to me, that make up the entire structure.
